About Nyama
Nyama Catering was originally set up by George Zaayman & Johannes Burger as a UK based company in 2003, being virtually driven from their beloved country George & Johannes decided to give Spitbraai in the UK a try. From the start the idea was to create enough capital in the UK to set up a Nyama SA. Such is the success of Nyama UK that it has only taken them roughly 3 years to be able to achieve their goal. The first Nyama SA franchise started doing some serious business beginning of September 2006!
Since ,proud owner, Francois Wessels (pictured) opened Nyama SA's doors in 2006 we have gone from strength to strength. From a small start with only 2 machines and 2 chefs we have grown to a 20 man strong team with branches in Gauteng and Polokwane who can handle any size function with ease and most important we still do it with that personal touch our clients have come to enjoy. With passion and pride we will be feeding South Africa only the way Nyama can.
